The launch of their new Sony KD55X9000E 55" 4K HDR Android Smart LED LCD TV is pretty damn impressive. In addition to offering a beautiful display, the smart technology with which the TV has been designed is a complete game changer when it comes to the user experience. KD55X9000E 55" 4K HDR Android Smart LED LCD TV from the house of Sony which might not prove to be pocket-friendly for the majority. However, the question arises whether the product is worth the money? So today we are set to review this product and put our final thoughts on the TV.

Design
Well, as far the design is concerned, Sony KD55X9000E 55" is not only sleek but can be termed as a super sleek TV which adds an essence of sophistication to the interiors of your home. The TV has a narrow aluminium frame which makes the TV look slim and allows the eyes to focus on the large screen. Its unique stand will give you a cable-free front with which you can hide all the wires from the set-top box or Blu ray players at the back of the stand.
Also, the TV has been designed in such a way that all the cables are hidden at the back of the TV which restores the elegance of the device. Thus, we personally feel that design wise the TV is quite elegant that will help your home look classier.
Picture Quality
You may find experts arguing on the fact that OLED is way more superior when it comes to picture quality of a TV, Sony KD55X9000E has a stunning picture quality. With a screen size of 55-inches along with a resolution of 3840x2160 and ultra HD screen resolution, the picture quality can be compared with nothing less than 'coming alive'.
The 4K HDR Processor X1 with Object-based HDR and Super Bit Mapping showcases a picture quality with pure colour when the brightness is adjusted to a higher level. When we did a picture quality test, we actually had to increase the brightness a bit for a more natural picture with better detail and clarity. Also, when we played a video, we did not see any blurring or glitch and the video played pretty smoothly. Not to forget, the quality and the colour were supremely flawless when we compared the same video by playing it in other TV.
Another feature which adds to the stunning picture quality of this set is the TRILUMINOS Display. It has a specially developed backlight which has been created with a wider palette of colour so that the subtle colours do not become oversaturated. Thus, we were quite impressed by the stunning picture and video quality as we were able to detect the smallest of the details owing to its extraordinary clarity for a better experience.
Sound Quality
Next, we decided to test the sound quality of the TV and we were quite impressed by the audio quality as well. The Sony KD-55X9000E is infused with ClearAudio+ fine-tunes TV sound for an extraordinary sound experience that will wrap or surround you from all the sides. The Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) technology is responsible to restore the natural sound of low-resolution internet videos, catch up TV and other heavily compressed files which most of the time does not sound good. Other features like Clear Phase and Cinematic S-Force Front Surround doubles up the game of sound for this TV set. Overall, the audio version of this TV is pretty good compared to other 4K TVs available in the market and the audio quality should be sounding great even in a large room. Thus, you can hear music, dialogue or surrounding effects with greater precision and separation.

You can cast it from Android, iOS, or your laptop. Plus, the Google Voice Search feature has made things all the more simple as you will be able to skip the work of typing on the search bar which can be done with your voice.
Apart from that, you can now record your favourite show with the use of USB HDD REC feature which allows one-touch and timer recording of a digital broadcast onto any USB HDD device up to 2TB in capacity. While we tested the connectivity, we did not find any disturbance with the connecting issue and things went on quite smoothly.
